Why I Moved To Canada (& Why I Am Never Coming Back)
Why I Moved To Canada ... UPDATE VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09lS2atcExc I moved to Canada from England in 2015. I just celebrated five years living in Canada and I want to tell you why I was inspired to move and why I want to stay for the foreseeable future. If you want to see more of my life in Canada (especially living in Toronto) then follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/missrebeccaj/ These reasons are personal to me; you may not agree or have the same experience, but I wanted to tell you how I see things from my perspective. Moving to Canada on a Working Holiday Visa was quite easy but settling in Canada as a Permanent Resident was quite a bit harder. I don't go in to loads of detail on those two processes, but if you want to know then leave me a comment and I will try to answer as best I can. Reasons Not To Be A YouTuber (from former host of 6 million +)
Don't Become a YouTuber without watching this video first and knowing what to expect. I used to work for a big YouTube channel that grew from around 250,000 to nearly 6,000,000 subscribers while I worked there. I wasn't prepared for what was going to happen to me. I had no idea, age 26 when I took the job, that I would be sitting here 6 years later wondering what ON EARTH happened to me. I don't go as deep as I could, but here are a few reasons that being a YouTuber is a rough. The psychological impact of being exposed to the YouTube platform were as intense as the actual grind itself. Constant uploads, integrity sacrifices, rigid algorithms, mean comments, obsessive fans are just a few of the ways being a YouTuber is hard! Anyway watch along, but first you need a drink: COCKTAIL: Blackberry Sake Martini 2oz Whitley Neill Gin Blackberry 0.25 oz sake STIR over ice for a full 60 seconds. Serve in a chilled glass with blackberries and a lemon twist for a garnish Other Videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLntL7qO2LCLkKu2gf6PfGKMFUlfpOVkuV Find me on Instagram: www.instagram.com/missrebeccaj #youtuberlife #youtuber #quityoutube
Toronto Apartment Makeover & Tour
See my Toronto Apartment Makeover! I repainted my one bed basement apartment and I LOVE the way it has turned out. See more of my apartment / life on Instagram : https://www.instagram.com/missrebeccaj/ I started by totally transforming my living room and entrance hall and created an entirely new space for my desk! I reorganized my bar and repainted my dining room area and bedroom. I love the pink paint and mustard paint the best, but the oyster grey paint in the bedroom looks really nice in real life. I have a rental and my landlady doesn't know about the paint, but I'll repaint the space white when I move! How I Started My Business in Canada | Influencer in Toronto
How I started my business as a social media influencer in Canada. Influencer is an awful word, so let's rebrand this to "Digital Content Creator" off the bat, ha! A lot of you knew me as the face of a YouTube channel and ask me what I am up to now. The answer is: I am working for myself and freelance for other clients as a digital content creator. I sort of stumbled into it, but with purpose. I took a risk and by and large it paid off. Here's how I did it! Any questions, leave me a comment and I will gladly reply with more information. I know this video is a lot! THE COCKTAIL: Cupid's Bow 2oz Whitley Neill Raspberry Gin 1oz freshly squeezed lemon 1oz egg white 1 oz sugar syrup (I used a basil infusion) A handful of raspberries Dry shake in a cocktail shaker, then shake again with a handful of ice. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with rose petals. CHEERS! Elora, Ontario: Canada's "Most Beautiful" town.
We took a road trip to Elora, Canada's "Most Beautiful" Town. The Ontario town/ village is very cute, filled with pastel houses, arts and craft stores and gorgeous views of wildlife. The Elora Brewing Company and Elora Distillery were great spots to visit to. Elora is a cute and historic town on its own, but the Gorge conservation area makes it stunning! The first European settlers arrived in Elora in 1817 and by the 1850s Elora was a major agricultural marketplace. A lot of people take trips from Toronto to Elora as they attracted by the Gorge and historic architecture.
